Introduction To Studio Lighting Workshop (Hosted by Rob Nickel)

Last night we held our very first workshop: "Introduction To Studio Lighting"

We had 9 people show up of various skill levels, and Rob Nickel gave the instruction. Areas of lighting that were covered were:

• Basic Light Operation
• Light Modification
• Metering Lights
• Lighting Ratios
• Classic Setups

This is the first workshop in a series that we will be having here at Loft24 Studio so stay tuned for updates!

And if you couldn't make it out to this Intro workshop don't worry. We will be doing a repeat of the class for everyone that had conflicting schedules!

Mark Ford (Sin City Caddy Girls Photoshoot)

Mark Ford and Ken O' Neil contacted us because he needed a solid place for his photoshoots. He runs a company called "Sin City Caddy Girls" in Las Vegas. You can view their website at: www.SinCityCaddyGirls.com

Jon Ross (Jewelry / Model Photoshoot)

Jon Ross was contracted to do a photoshoot showcasing some jewelry, so he found a model and called us to book his shoot. He chose to go with our Elinchrom package, and the session went great. You can visit Jon's website at: www.jonrossart.com

Chris Rawlins (Model Photoshoot)

Chris Rawlins was back in the studio on Tuesday with a model from Seattle, and his makeup & hairstylist Marissa Reed.

Mark Hollinger (Pinup Model Shoot)

Mark Hollinger  had Kay O' Hara fly in from Canada for a pinup style photoshoot to showcase a local corset designers work on the models. He didn't want to bring out all of his gear, so he went with our Elinchrom Lighting Package. The shoot went well and everyone had a great time!

Chris Rawlins (Product / Model Shoot)

Chris Rawlins had a product shoot for a company that makes carrier bags for pets. He brought in his own lighting, model and his own makeup/hairstylist (Marissa Reed) so he got to take advantage of our $25 per hour rate!

Don Collier (model photoshoot)

Don Collier came out from California to do a 3 day model photoshoot here at Loft24 Studio. Here's a few shots of Don in action! (more pics will be posted after he runs them through post production)

PMA 2008

LOFT24 STUDIO went to PMA 2008 to see what's new in the photography industry. There was more than we could've imagined and we've got a few ideas in the works on how to make our studio even better!
