Glamour Light Studio Presents: Intensive Studio Lighting Workshop

Glamour Light Studio recently put on an "Intensive Studio Lighting" workshop here at LOFT24 STUDIO.

The workshop was hosted by Manny Vasquez, a Brook's institute graduate that trained with playboy photographer Arny Freytag. We only had a week to promote the workshop but still got a nice turnout of about 8 local photography enthusiasts!

Manny is not only a great photographer, but a great instructor as well. I thought I had learned everything I needed to know about photography, but Manny was there to prove me wrong, haha! He's got so much information that it would normally be overwhelming, but he presents it in a way that even the most novice photographer could grasp the concepts and lessons easily. We will be hosting another one of these workshops in the future so stay tuned!

Introduction To Studio Lighting Workshop (Hosted by Rob Nickel)

Last night we held our very first workshop: "Introduction To Studio Lighting"

We had 9 people show up of various skill levels, and Rob Nickel gave the instruction. Areas of lighting that were covered were:

• Basic Light Operation
• Light Modification
• Metering Lights
• Lighting Ratios
• Classic Setups

This is the first workshop in a series that we will be having here at Loft24 Studio so stay tuned for updates!

And if you couldn't make it out to this Intro workshop don't worry. We will be doing a repeat of the class for everyone that had conflicting schedules!
